Mohamed Ahmed (Moe) is the Finance and Operations Manager at George Mason University’s Center for Climate Change Communication (Mason 4C). For more than a decade, he has overseen the Center’s financial operations, human resources, and project management while supporting faculty, staff, and community partners in advancing climate and health communication.
Moe specializes in designing systems that keep complex projects and budgets on track, streamline operations, and help research teams translate ideas into real-world impact. His role bridges strategy, people, and processes to ensure 4C’s work runs smoothly from concept to execution.
He earned a B.A. in Environmental and Sustainability Studies with a minor in Environmental Economics and an M.S. in Environmental Science and Policy from George Mason University. He also holds Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification and has pursued additional graduate-level studies in Geoinformatics and Geospatial Intelligence, focusing on the intersections of climate change, human geography, and health geography.
