Her passion has led her to develop a strong interest in social issues, particularly those related to mental and physical health inequities. After discovering the mission of the Medical Society Consortium on Climate and Health, which aims to inform and educate policymakers and the public about the impacts of climate change on health, Clarissa was eager to learn more and contribute her skills to support this mission.

She has also had the honor of contributing to a guide for health professionals and community groups as well as contributing to a perspective chapter on climate change and health inequities.
