Brendan Jones, is a visionary leader who has been successful in building and structurally adjusting companies to take advantage of emerging business trends and technological advancements. He is a former CEO and internationally recognized expert with over 33 years of experience in the automotive, EV technology, energy and e-mobility industries. Brendan retired as the President & CEO of Blink Charging in 2025 and was awarded the Trailblazer of Progress Award for leading its transformational growth into an industry leader. At Blink Brendan led the team that transformed the company from $2.9 million in revenue to just over $140 million in revenue in just 3 years. Brendan started his career at Nissan North America. where he spent 21 years. During the last 6 years at Nissan Brendan led the Nissan Leaf Team to successfully launch the first mass produced all-electric vehicle. Brendan worked with Nissan’s Global to invest in many Electric Vehicles Infrastructure Companies and served the Board of Directors of NRG’s EVgo. EVgo subsequently recruited Brendan to expand their Fast-Charging network nationwide. Later he was recruited as employee number one and COO by VW Group to build Electrify America, VW’s EV charging subsidiary. As COO, Brendan and his team built Electrify America into one the largest EV Charging providers in the US.
During his career Brendan has served on many Boards: Board Member Evgo, Executive Board Member Electric Drive Transportation Association, Vice Chairman ROVE, Board Member Blink Charging and many others.
Over his career Brendan has led and facilitated a multitude of Mergers, Acquisition, Investment and Asset Purchase Agreements. Brendan is noted for starting up new ventures and transforming organizations to become industry leaders set for next stage evolution. He understands emerging industries and what it takes for the various entities to succeed as a player. He is familiar with all iterations of companies in these new spaces, whether they be private equity startups, mid-caps expanding in a space, or larger corporations establishing themselves in a new niche or joint venture.
Brendan is a highly regarded public speaker and has been a keynote, featured speaker, and panelist at hundreds of events and conferences in the US and Europe. Brendan is Graduate of George Mason University where he received a BA in Communication and a MA in International Transactions. Brendan also received a Certificate for Executive Leadership from Vanderbilt University.
